LLC Stillmel specialized for the production and supplying synthetic diamond powders that are according international standards: DSTU, ANSI, DIN and other regulatory documents. The product undergoes mandatory certification and control of quality which ensures stable characteristics and reliability in industrial applications.
Diamond micro powders are manufactured with increased (ACH) and normal (ACM) abrasive ability
29 serially produced sizes of diamond powders;
- impurity content - no more than 0.5% (according to DSTU, up to 2.0% is allowed);
- the main fraction - not less than 80% (according to DSTU - 70%);
- the fractional composition according the requirements of international standards
- increased abrasive ability due to grainz ovalization;
- production in accordance with common Western quality standards.
Appointment:
Diamond powders used for:
- manufacturing of diamond tools with different types of bond
- manufacturing diamond pastes and polishing suspensions.
using as for free abrasive.
Additional Properties:
To enhance the performance characteristics of diamond polishing wheels and pastes, micro-powders with grit sizes ranging from 60/40 to 14/10 are coated with nickel, containing 55%, 60% or 65% Ni by weight.
DIAMOND GRINDING POWDERS AC4, AC6.
Characteristics:
- 8 to 14 standard grit sizes available for serial production;
- impurity and refractory residue content: not exceeding 1.2–1.5%;
- grain size distribution compliant with DSTU and US Mesh standards.
Used for the manufacture of diamond tools with organic bonds and abrasive pastes.
Application.
AC4, AC6- diamond powder in a form of aggregates and intergrowths, intended for resin bond grinding tools for processing hard alloys, ceramics, non metallic and fragile materials.
Additional properties.
For increasing of perseverance of grinding wheels the powders cove of nickel with a content 55-56% for weight.
Cubic nitride boron (CBN) powders.
CBN powders belong to the class of super hard abrasive materials and designed for highly efficient machining of materials with increased hardness. Due to the combination of high heat resistance and chemical inertness to iron and its alloys, CBN is the optimal choice for machining hardened steels, tool and heat-resistant alloys, where the use of diamond is technologically or economically impractical. CBN powders ensure stable cutting ability under conditions of long grinding, finishing and polishing processes at elevated temperatures.
Main characteristics:
- stable granulometric composition with narrow distribution of fraction;
- minimal content of metallic and non-metallic impurities;
- high grain strength and resistance to microfracture;
- predicted abrasive capacity throughout the entire tool life;
- compliance with international standards for super hard abrasives.
Application:
CBN powder used for production of grinding resin bond, metallic bond, vitrified (ceramic) , galvanic bond;
-manufacturing of abrasive pastes and polishing suspensions for precision machining
- use as a free abrasive in finishing and finishing grinding processes.
TITANIUM CARBIDE POWDERS.
Stillmel LLC apply manufacture and supply of titanium carbide powder according to technical conditions. Company produces micro powder and grinding powder different fractions for industry applying. All products undergoes multi-level control of quality and comply with current regulatory requirements.
Characteristics and purpose:
Titanium carbide powders belong to the class of superhard materials and are used:
- as a free abrasive for finishing and polishing;
- as a component of abrasive tools and products;
- for the manufacture of abrasive pastes such as KT and specialized polishing compositions.
Using of titanium carbide-based pastes allows:
-increase the productivity of finishing operations by up to 150%;
- improve the surface cleanliness class by 1-2 positions;
-increase the wear resistance of parts almost twice.
-alternative to diamond and CBN abrasives.
Titanium carbide pastes demonstrate material removal efficiency comparable to diamond and CBN counterparts, at a lower cost and stable technological characteristics.
Technology opportunities of production.
Technologies which we applied let to adapting characteristics of powders under specific technological processes from thin polishing to intense abrasive grinding.
This approach provides broad opportunities for the use of titanium carbide powders in mechanical engineering, tool manufacturing, metalworking, and other industries of high-precision material processing.
Use of abrasive powders:
- sharpening of carbide tools;
- cutting, grinding, finishing and polishing of parts made of hardened steels, hard alloys, ceramics, glass, sapphire, corundum, semiconductor materials;
- processing of semi-precious and precious stones;
- polishing of stone and other non-metallic materials;
- processing of parts made of hardened steels and heat-resistant alloys, high-precision grinding and polishing of critical surfaces in instrument making and power engineering.
Areas of industry:
- mechanical engineering;
- tool manufacturing;
- aviation and defense industry;
- jewelry industry.
